There are tens of thousands of Jersey law trusts in existence owning valuable assets sometimes through complex networks of holding companies.

Inevitably disagreements arise. Beneficiaries can feel their trustees hold all the cards. Trustees can regret that the settlor did not foresee how complex the beneficiaries’ lives would become.
