Emily Paris-Hunter

Emily is a Senior Associate and qualified as an advocate in 2023 and a Scottish solicitor in 2013 and in the years since then Emily’s career has involved principally commercial work, but also general private client matters and regular court appearances before Aberdeen Sheriff Court where Emily dealt with a breadth of disputes from claims, evictions, and even family matters.
Before moving to Jersey, Emily worked for two multi-discipline firms with an emphasis on commercial property and also a smaller practice where she worked on her specialism for commercial agreements and in particular commercial property. Such work included advising and drafting in relation to leasing, licenses, assignments, sub-leases, rent reviews and variations. Emily has also dealt with collateral warranties, planning obligation agreements; development agreements; and a wide array of related matters.
Emily is recognised as a 'Leading Associate' by the Legal 500 UK 2025 and a ‘Recommended and Key Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 UK 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022 edition.
Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time outdoors and cooking for friends and family.
