Ashley Bidmead

Ashley is an Associate and accounting technician working in the private client team. Ashley has worked for Viberts over two different timespans amounting to in excess of 10 years. He has extensive experience in the administration of estates and delegations, including the management of estate assets and preparation of comprehensive accounts. He also deals with probate applications for both Jersey resident and foreign domiciled clients.

Ashley’s considerable experience encompasses the drafting of both delegation and probate representations, including Deeds of Variation, to the Royal Court of Jersey. He advises on all aspects of delegations and powers of attorney and has assisted the partners in effectively managing the finances of numerous clients under powers of attorney.

Ashley’s accounting background enables the private client team to deliver an efficient and high quality service in terms of estate administration, without needing to outsource work. This adds to the flexibility of our private client team.

Most recently, Ashley became a full STEP member after passing his STEP diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales). Gaining this qualification has given him the ability to offer advice on all the legal procedures involved with the administration of UK Trusts and Estates.

Completing this qualification has given Ashley an in-depth understanding of UK Probate Matters and how they work.
