Viberts is pleased to assist Jersey companies needing to lodge a legal opinion and/or a Form 7 certificate with HM Land Registry in the UK, and to do so on a fixed fee basis.

Jersey companies dealing with the Registry can be required to supply these confirmations signed by a named individual lawyer, rather than signed in the name of the firm where they practice. For some practices, organised so that the firm itself has a separate legal personality distinct from that of its partners, this cannot for insurance or other reasons readily be done.

Viberts is able to offer opinions and/or Form 7 certificates signed by individual Jersey lawyers and stating that they practice law in Jersey, are properly entitled to do so and have the necessary knowledge personally to give the confirmations needed by the registry.
