Employment law changes: increase to minimum wage from January 2022
News
|27 October 2021
A change to Jersey’s Minimum Wage law was made on 27 October 2021.
With effect from 1 January 2022 the Minimum Wage will increase from £8.32 to £9.22 per hour. This is a significant (9%) increase although it is important to note that the rate has not changed since April 2020, owing to disruption to the customary annual cycle of minimum wage reviews.
