Breast cancer screening. Radiologist misdiagnosed patients.
News
|25 June 2024
It has been reported today, 24 June 2024, that the Jersey General Hospital has had to recall 20 women for breast cancer screening and review more than 2,700 scans over fears that a radiologist misdiagnosed patients.
We understand that as a result some women’s cancer treatment was delayed.
A full report is due to be published by the end of July 2024 looking into the radiology and mammography departments at the hospital.
